Philly.com -  Welcome to today's live Eagles chat with Ashley Fox. Ashley will be on at noon to talk about the loss to the Cowboys and the first half of the season. You can start submitting your questions NOW.
12:01
Ashley Fox -  Hello everybody. Thanks for joining me. I'll get to as many questions as I can. Check out my column tomorrow for any I might've missed. Let's get started.

[Comment From George]
Ashley, what did you think of Reid's challenge decisions on Sunday?
12:02
Ashley Fox -  I didn't like the first one. I thought the second one (the McNabb sneak) was worthwhile. I still don't understand the official's explanation to Reid about McNabb's elbow. Thought they missed that one.

[Comment From Mack]
The Birds can dominate against lesser opponents, but they're not built for the stretch run or the playoffs. Agree or disagree?
12:03
Ashley Fox -  Mack, I'm not ready to agree with that just yet. They have holes, yes. Injuries have been a problem. But if they get hot at the right time, I think they can make a run, I really do. Now, if the game is tight at the end and they have to orchestrate a come-from-behind victory, I'm not sold they can do that.

[Comment From Mike]
How can the Eagles solve their problems in the 4th quarter?
12:05
Ashley Fox -  That is the money question, Mike.  In his story today, my  colleague Bob Brookover broke down their issues in tight games. It's a number of things. And at some point, I think they're pressing. Not all of this is McNabb's fault, by any stretch. But he hasn't done it. In the two biggest examples -- Dallas on Sunday and Arizona in the NFC title game last year -- the defense couldn't get off the field on third down.

Hey Ashley -- I wanted to get your thoughts on why Andy Reid did not use Weaver in short down situations on Sunday?
12:06
Ashley Fox -

I don't know, Bob. He was averaging something like 5 yards per carry. There was one series where the Eagles ran on first and second, then threw on third and short. I don't get it either.
