Assuming that Theo is going to want to sign an Adrian Gonzalez type slugger and bring in another top to middle of the rotation starter, who do you think he'll end up parting with on the 25 man roster?

That's hard to say, but if the Sox are serious about a big trade, I can't imagine them doing it without Clay Buchholz or Daniel Bard in the mix. The rest of their better prospects are at the lower minor league levels, which will make it difficult to execute a trade without Buchholz or Bard.

Tony - how do you think the Pats will adjust to the blitzing by the Jets? What happened to the credo "if they are blitzing, then somone must be open"?

Boston.com - I think the credo still apllies. I also think that the offense is playing much better than it was in Week 2, so they will be much harder to defend. (Remember that Wes Welker missed that game and is a key guy in combatting the blitz.) Also, the Jets have since lost Kris Jenkins, so the Patriots might be able to run in this game, too.

what do you make of the jeremy hermida aquisition? Think this is a sign of things to come, or not to come?

Boston.com - It was strictly a low-cost gamble. The Marlins couldn't pay him and the Sox gave up little to get him. Hermida is not a great compliment to their current group because he bats left-handed, so look for him to be a fifth outfielder at best for the time being. If he improves and blossoms, his role obviously could change/grow.

Rasheed stats...5 offensive rebounds...9 total free throws attempted...98 total shots/64 0f them from 3 land...This kind of production will ultimately kill the team...notwithstanding the rare hot streak from outside at some point...He is past ready for prime time !!
