The on-ice session was about as upbeat as you could hope for, I suppose, some interesting skating drills led by Jim Schoenfeld (follow the leader?) and then some work with the lines. The players seem a little bit of two minds - on one hand, their tails are between their legs a bit because a good guy lost his job over their recent slide. At the same time they're trying to be excited about this change, and calling this a fresh start - "We're zero and zero," were Chris Drury's words.
