Watched every game via the USD internet link and flew back for the homecoming game. Also, followed the chatter about “kicking.” The kicker now seems pretty accurate. Field goals seem to make a difference this year—in wins and losses. Completed field goals in the Cal Davis game would have given you a conference record of 3 – 1 and won the Great West Conference. I was sure wishing the kicker you are started at the beginning of the year and used at the end would have been kicking then. . .
Passing up field goals inside the 35 this year on 4th downs cost a game or two (MSU and UNC). Old saying in football goes “Any points are good!” Any regrets??? |
