First, let's go through a quick primer on what to expect from the live blog. I'll write updates throughout the game for big plays and scoring. I can't do play-by-play, watch the game and keep stats at the same time. But the beautiful function of the live blog is it lets you interact. I.F. takes the opening kick, and because Highland lets it roll around, it is pinned back at its own 4-yard line.

QB Tanner Nielson gets them out of the shadow of the goalposts with a 26-yard scramble on third down.

ON the ensuing first down though, Christian Denny blindsides Nielson as he throws, causing the ball to flutter away. Chance Smith picks off the pass and returns it to the 24.

9:52 - Three plays later, Munk checks down to his third receiver, Derek Despot, running a drag and hits him for a 9-yard TD pass.

Munk's kick is good.

Idaho Falls 7, Highland 0

6:23	5:20 - Nielson makes a beautiful, arcing throw over an I.F. safety and floats the ball into Joseph Rasmussen's hands for a 14-yard TD pass. Paul Muzzo's kick is good. Highland 7, Idaho Falls 7

6:30	1:36 - Facing 4th-and-6 from its own 47, Munk pulls a fake punt and runs for a 15-yard gain to the Highland 38.

6:33	0:52 - Take those yards back as Munk slings it to the end zone and Drew Tingey runs through the Highland defensive back, earning a 15-yard, loss-of-down pass interference.
