how long will jerry be able to reap the benefits of the player bill parcells brought to this team before their horribly personnel moves and lousy drafts start wearing on htis team? have a blessed day brother
11:15
That's certainly a negative spin. It's OK if you kick Jerry's butt about some things because he certainly deserves it. But if he's the GM, then you have to give him credit for Felix Jones, Mike Jenkins, David Buehler, Keith Brooking, Gerald Sensabaugh anda few others. You just can't pick and choose what to blame him for. That said, the Cowboys need more production from this draft class, and I have no idea whether they're going to get it.

Any chance the Popeye Jones and Drew Gooden incidents will distract the team? Think it's getting blown out of proportion?
11:16
I wouldn't think so. It's pretty sad, but DWIs are no big deal in today's society. I'm certainly not advocating drinking and driving, but what I'm saying is it happens often enough that it doesn't create a firestorm. Drew Gooden's alleged incident falls under the same category. In the big picture, it's not a big deal.

After all the work they have put in, why is the Romo to Williams connection not working better?
11:18
That's the 64,000 question. If the coaching staff can't figure it out, I'm not sure I can either. What we all know is that it's absolutely awful. It can only get better, right? Roy is at his best running slants and outs and curls. Those are all timing routes. Some of it, I think, is the result of Roy  being an average route runner. He's not precise, which means Romo's throws are a little off. I know they;re working hard on it.

After watching New Orleans last night. Barring an injury to Brees, is there anything that is going to slow them down? Or should the rest of the NFC start preparing for the 2010 draft?
11:20
It's a long season dude. The Saints were 7-0 in 1991. I don't know how that team finished, but I do know they didn't win the Super Bowl. The Cowboys were 12-1 in 2007 and didn't win a playoff game. Some teams peak too early. We'll just have to wait and see, though they look great right now.

Are you coming around on the Cowboys? Or are you and most of the media going to keep being haters?
