There will never be another Michael Jackson. The fact he decided to try for a comeback tour ensures he will be remembered for the music, not the allegations

His music will never be equalled.

12:45
BPM newsroom -  LISA Marie Presley, former wife of Michael Jackson and daughter of Elvis Presley, said: “I am so very sad and confused with every emotion possible. I am heartbroken for his children who I know were everything to him and for his family. This is such a massive loss on so many levels, words fail me.”
12:46
BPM newsroom -  DIONNE Warwick, singer and Jackson’s friend, said: “We have lost an icon in our industry and my heartfelt condolences go out to his family and children in this hour of sorrow that they are now going through. He will live on in my memory and most definitely through the music he shared with so many.”

Michael overcame so much, and must have been such a strong person. Racial prejudice, childhood stardom, repeated stains on his character. A great man, a great act, a great memory

BPM newsroom -

FRIEND and psychic Uri Geller said: “I’m shocked and devastated. I am hoping this is a dream I will wake up from, but it is not. Michael is dead.
“For him not to be around, that he’s gone, is just surreal. It cannot sink into my psyche. He was a genius.”

12:49
BPM newsroom -  FAMILY friend Mark Lester described him as “a very sweet, kind and loving man”. The former child star, who is godfather to Jackson’s children, said they first met more than 30 years ago. He said: “The last time we saw him he was in London a few weeks ago. He was absolutely fine. I can’t believe this, it’s such a shock.”

[Comment From Mikey]
He hadn't made a decent record in 22 years...so can we quit with this King Of Pop rubbish (a self-appointed title anyway)...although, granted the records he made up to and including Bad were rather good!
