James Schmehl -  Hello, once again, everybody -- how's everyone doing today? Man, it's ridiculously humid...
1:01
James Schmehl -  Lineups are being announced -- we're about five minutes from the first pitch.

Mags has new hair to break the slump!!
1:02
James Schmehl -  It's true -- and if you're fortunate enough, you might be able to even win it on eBay!
1:03
James Schmehl -  I'll be posting more on his new hairdo tomorrow, but Gerald Laird and some of his other teammates have really been busting his chops about it. Good times...

Who would buy hair? Or is it some sort of sweepstakes?
1:04
James Schmehl -  Celebrity sightings today -- Chris Chelios is throwing out today's first pitch. A little high, but it looks good...
1:04
James Schmehl -  He got a real good welcome from the crowd -- it will be sad to see Cheli go -- 10 years in Detroit, sheesh, I feel old.
1:05
James Schmehl -  Kris Draper and Darren McCarty were also on the mound, but they didn't throw out any pitches.

Rumor has it that the Tiger's might offer Everett a contract ext. before the end of the season. Are we looking at a Everett and Santiago SS/2B combo next season with Polanco out? Gives our prospects another year in the minors.
1:05
James Schmehl -  Tigers take the field.
1:06
James Schmehl -  That makes sense, Tigers Fan -- I guess it depends on what kind of money Everett is looking at. It's safe to say the Tigers are working hard to avoid arbitration with Santiago, but I'm not sure about Everett. I'll keep you posted.
1:06
James Schmehl -  But, I still think Scott Sizemore will be on the Tigers' 25-man roster next season, with or without Polanco.

You think Comerica could have a "Barber Day' so fans can get their Magglio wigs trimmed?? Have a bunch of barbers at the turnstiles.....HA!

Lions signed D. Raiola to 4 year contract.
1:07
James Schmehl -  Ha! I like the Barber Day idea. But, I'd rather see Todd Jones running on a tarp sporting Magg's old hair.

Do you feel that both of those guys can post numbers for a whole season that they have been this year? Or are they better because they are being used only two or three times a week?

Who's sizemore?
1:08
James Schmehl -  Scott Sizemore is respectively the Tigers' No. 1 prospect -- currently in Triple A Toledo.
1:08
James Schmehl -  Galarraga's first pitch is lined down the third base line for a standup double by Alfonso Soriano. Yikes -- not the start Galarraga was looking for.
