High School GameDay 10/30/09

7:11
ESPNDallas -  Welcome to tonight's High School GameDay coverage!
7:12
Jeff Andrews -  Hello again friends, it's good to be chatting with you again on a slightly chilly evening.
7:14
Jeff Andrews -  I'm at the the Allen-Plano East game here in Allen. I'm excited to see the defending 5A champion Eagles, and specifically their offensive line. Seniors Luke Burleson (Baylor) and Cedric Ogbuegi (Texas A&M) are studs, and junior Brad McNulty will likely have his pick of school next year.
7:15
Randy Jennings -

The beauty of four teams going to the playoffs from a 7-team district is just about everybody is still in the race on Week 9. That includes South Grand Prairie (4-4, 2-2) and host Irving MacArthur (4-4, 1-3) as they get ready for  MacArthur's homecoming game at Irving Schools Stadium.

7:16
Jeff Andrews -  Allen really hasn't been tested since blowing a big lead against Longivew in its season opener. Plano East is coming off a huge win over Plano west where the Panthers clinched their first playoff berth since 2006. This game is for the District 8-5A title as both teams are undefeated in district play.
7:22
Jeff Andrews -  Slight correction: Allen was tested against Euless Trinity, of course. It's been smooth sailing in 8-5A play though.
7:23
Randy Jennings -  South Grand Prairie can clinch a playoff berth tonight  with the combination of a win over MacArthur and a Cedar Hill win over Grand Prairie. MacArthur, even with one win, still has a shot at the playoffs with a  victory tonight.
7:34
Jeff Andrews -  Allen receives the ball to start the game. We're underway!
7:35
Jeff Andrews -  Allen starts at its own 37.
7:37
Jeff Andrews -  That didn't take long. Allen QB hits a wide open Jonathan Lee on a play action play for a 58-yard touchdown. Lee is another Allen Eagle junior that is being heavily recruited.
